Imani Tellis - Licensed General Contractor
As the licensed General Contractor behind Tellis Cornerstone Construction, Imani Tellis brings a rare blend of creative vision, business savvy, and heart-led leadership to the construction world. Her journey into the building industry wasn’t traditional—but it was purposeful. Inspired by her husband Jareem, who saw her eye for design and natural talent for structure and aesthetics, Imani stepped boldly into a new chapter—one that brought together every strength she’d cultivated along the way.
With a bachelor’s degree in Communications and years of experience as a Director of Communications, Imani is a master of organization, detail, and client care. She has a proven ability to manage projects with clarity and grace, ensuring that every client feels heard, supported, and informed from beginning to end.
As a licensed Realtor, Imani has also helped families—especially those navigating probate—enhance their properties to increase market value, guiding them through emotionally and financially complex situations with compassion and strategy.
She ensures that every project reflects not just high standards of quality—but deep care for the people and communities they serve. Her role is more than technical; it’s transformational.
Jareem Tellis - Director of Construction
With over a decade of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Jareem Tellis (aka JT) brings a powerful blend of technical expertise, leadership, and integrity to his role as Director of Construction at Tellis Cornerstone Construction.
Jareem’s career began in the trenches of design and permit expediting, where he developed a strong foundation in navigating building codes, city regulations, and project planning. His deep knowledge of both residential and commercial construction—combined with his ability to lead crews, manage timelines, and oversee complex budgets—makes him a trusted force on any job site.
Throughout his career, Jareem has successfully led projects across Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside Counties, including managing multi-million-dollar developments. One of his standout achievements was overseeing the first legally permitted Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) in Riverside County—a project that reflects his forward-thinking mindset and commitment to excellence.
What sets Jareem apart isn’t just his technical skill—it’s his character. Known for his integrity, calm leadership, and dedication to doing things the right way, he ensures every build reflects the company’s values of quality, honesty, and purpose.
